Rema’s “Calm Down” song along with afrobeat has earned new height around the world and India in particular this time.
The Nigerian music star’s “Calm Down” hit track became the number 1 song in India. Undoubtedly, confirming Afrobeats is now a music genre recognized across the world.
Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor outdid his peers following yet another astounding feat. He made this breakthrough known via the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
“Number 1 in India”, Rema wrote.
He affirmed that he would love to take Afrobeats into zones that no one else has infiltrated.
One of the proofs of Afrobeats growth is a recent video that was seen online of a stadium packed with fans in Qatar singing and vibing to Rema’s song, Calm Down.
