Former Big Brother Naija season 3 housemate, Patrick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey has died following his involvement in a car crash.
Recall that Nigerian entertainers launched a fundraiser for him on Wednesday in the hope of raising funds for his treatment.
His management had also posted a message that he was on life support and unable to use his social media handles.
“Hello everyone, Rico Swavey is not disposed to handle his socials right now as he was involved in a ghastly accident and is currently on life support. While his situation is critical and doctors are on him, We implore your support and prayers,” the message from his management read.
Rico Swavery’s fellow BBNaija ex-housemate, Tobi Bakre and Sandra Alexandra, aka Alex Unusual announced his passing on their Twitter page.
“This is how I will always remember you. Rest in Peace, my Brother,” Bakre tweeted
Alex Tweeted, “This was not what we agreed Rico. Rest In Peace #ricoswavey.”
