The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the list of gubernatorial and House of Assembly candidates ahead of the 2023 elections.
VANTAGE NEWS reports that the list was released ahead of the March 11, 2023 date for the conduct of state elections.
The list showed that a total of 18 political parties fielded 837 candidates and their running mates for the 28 Governorship elections.
Similarly, 10,231 candidates will contest for 993 State Assembly seats.
