A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered supporters of the Labour Party not to converge at the Lekki Toll Gate for its rally tagged “#Obidatti23 Forward Ever Rally,” in the state.

The court, however, ruled that the part and it’s supporters can pass through the place during the show of support for its presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed.

Justice Daniel Osiagor, while delivering the judgement, directed the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba; and the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Abiodun Alabi, to ensure compliance with the order.

VANTAGE NEWS reports that Justice Osiagor made the order on Wednesday while ruling on a motion for injunction brought by 10 plaintiffs who are asking the court to stop the party and its supporters from holding the rally.
