Skitmaker Nasty Blaq Reacts To Reports That He Endorsed Atiku

Popular skitmaker, Abisi Emmanuel Ezechukwu aka Nasty Blaq has denied reports that he endorsed the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.

VANTAGE NEWS reports that pictures showing the skitmaker in a photograph with the former vice president generated reactions, with many alleging that he had endorsed Atiku.

However, he had since come out to deny the allegation in a statement shared on his Instagram.

Nasty Blaq said he has not endorsed any candidate or political party, stressing that he is contributing his own bit to the political process.

He stated that the viral photos with Atiku were taken during a recent visit which offered them the opportunity to engage with stakeholders in the election process, adding that they also had a meeting with the Independent National Electoral Commission with the goal of channeling their influence for good.

The statement read, “I have been informed that some posts going round social media have suggested I endorsed political candidates for the upcoming general elections.

“I would like to state VERY CLEARLY that I HAVE NOT ENDORSED ANY CANDIDATE OR PARTY!

“As a young Nigerian, I am doing my own bit to contribute to the political process. Recently I joined other public figures to explore ways of engaging with stakeholders in the election process. We have had several meetings with political aspirants and even the Independent National Election Commission. Our goal is to channel our influence to good, and find ways to better ascertain how young people can participate in the political process, and in a healthy way.

“It is ridiculous that anyone suggests I have endorsed parties or candidates from opposing parties. As a public figure, I understand the importance of clarity and transparency. On this note, I ask any and every one spreading these falsehood about me stop IMMEDIATELY.”
