The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, was hosted at a meeting by the Governor of Rivers, Nyesom Wike and other governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State.
It is the second time Obi would meet with Wike after decamping from the PDP and declaring his presidential ambition.
The meeting of Obi and the PDP bigwigs was announced on Twitter by former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko.
According to Mimiko, the meeting was held yesterday night.
Others in attendance include former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke; former Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwanbo; Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom; Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu; Mohammed Adoke and several others.
Sharing a photograph of the meeting, Mimiko wrote: “Nice to share some time last night with @GovWike @Donald_Duke @PeterObi @HEDankwambo @GovSamuelOrtom @GovernorIkpeazu, Mohammed Adoke SAN and many other friends.”
Mimiko, however, did not disclose the aim of the meeting.
