A former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has said that he will suspend the consistent attacks against Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Omokri is an ardent critic of the former Governor of Anambra State and faults every of his statement which earns him backslashes from his supporters popularly known as ‘Obidients’.
In a post shared on his Instagram page on Monday, 1st August 2022, the political activist said a mutual friend of his and Peter Obi has intervened between them.
Omokris said he has agreed to be neutral on issues regarding the LP flagbearer and will keep to his words.
He wrote: “A mutual friend of Peter Obi and I intervened between us. I respect him so much and agreed to accede to his request to remain neutral on Peter. I have kept to my words. But if any obidients threatens or attacks my one-year-old daughter, then to your tents o Israel.”
