The Confederation of African Football (CAF) held its 2022 awards ceremony on Thursday night in Morocco.

Senegal and former Liverpool forward who recently joined Bayern Munich, Sadio Mane won the African Footballer of the Year for men while Nigeria and Barcelona forward, Asisat Oshoala won the award for the women’s category.

Player of the year (women): Asisat Oshoala (Nigeria)

Coach of the year (men): Aliou Cisse (Senegal)

Coach of the year (women): Desiree Ellis (South Africa)

Youth Player of the year (men): Pape Matar Sarr (Senegal)

Youth player of the year (women): Evelyn Badu (Ghana)

Club of the year (men): Wydad Casablanca (Morocco)

Club of the year (women): Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa)

Interclubs player of the year (men): Mohammed El Shenawy (Al Ahly, Egypt)

Interclubs player of the year (women): Evelyn Badu (Avaldsnes IL of Norway, Ghana national team)
