American superstar singer, Chris Brown, has celebrated Senator Ademola Adeleke who emerged victorious at the just concluded Osun governorship election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Adeleke, an uncle to Chris Brown’s associate, David Adeleke aka Davido, winner of the Saturday polls on the platform of the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He defeated All Progressives Congress’ Gboyega Oyetola, the incumbent governor of the state, polling 403,371 votes against Oyetola’s 375,027 tally.
Davido has not been found wanting in his support for his uncle’s political ambition, using his large social media followership to rally support.
This might have attracted Chris Brown’s solidarity, as he posted the Osun governor-elect’s picture with emojis (“💪🏾🙏🏾❤️”,).
The American has enjoyed a wonderful working relationship with Davido, having collaborated with him on so many hit songs, and even recently featured the Nigerian star in a recent song titled “Nobody has to know”, off his recent “Breezy (Deluxe) album.
They have constantly featured in each other’s albums, since 2019.
