The attack on the advanced convoy of President Muhammadu Buhari is generating reactions from Nigerians on Twitter.
VANTAGE NEWS had reported that bandits attacked the convoy of Buhari’s advance team to Katsina.
The presidency while confirming the attack, said, “The Presidency has described as sad and unwelcome, the shooting incident near Dutsinma, Katsina State, at the convoy of cars carrying the Advance Team of security guards, protocol and media officers ahead of the President, Muhammadu Buhari’s trip to Daura for Sallah.
“The attackers opened fire on the convoy from ambush positions, but were repelled by the military, police and DSS personnel accompanying the convoy.
“Two persons in the convoy are receiving treatment for the minor injuries they suffered.
“All the other personnel, staff and vehicles made it safely to Daura.”

I woke up to news of Terrorists attacking Kuje prison in Abuja. Terrorists attacked president Buhari’s advance convoy in Katsina. Terrorists killed 2 policemen in Katsina. All this happened in one day. The level of insecurity in Nigeria is really very bad. This is Buhari’s job!

If bandits can attack the Presidential convoy with no fear at all, there's a big problem in the land.
President Buhari treated these bandits with kids' gloves.
No one is safe.

It's funny how News outlet still call them bandits, the truth is bandits don't have the balls to attack the most guarded prison in Nigeria ( Kuje) nor does it have the capacity to attack President Buhari 's convey. They are Terrorists and not Bandits. Nobody is safe anymore!

While we condemn in strong terms, the dastardly attack in Kuje Prison, & the attack on our Dear President Buhari’s convoy by the Boko Haram, we urge the president & his aides to be law abiding, & go about their normal business. We urge them not to take laws into their hands.
