See What Senator Sani Said About Tonto Dikeh’s Emergence As Deputy Governorship Candidate

A Senator that represented Kaduna Central and human rights activist, Shehu Sani has reacted to Tonto Dikeh’s nomination as the deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State.

VANTAGE NEWS had reported that the controversial actress announced her emergence as the running mate to Tonte Ibraye via her Twitter handle on Friday.

“I thank Mr Tonte Ibraye (@TonteIbraye), the Governorship candidate for ADC, Rivers State for nominating me as his running mate,” she tweeted.

“We are looking at investing in social protection, creating social value system & increased women’s inclusion in governance.”

Reacting to the news via his verified Twitter handle, Sani stated that Dikeh’s emergence as a political aspirant would challenge other actresses to seek political offices.

He tweeted, “Tonto Dikeh’s emergence as the Deputy Governorship candidate in Rivers State is good for Democracy,” Sani tweeted.

“This is a great challenge to other Female Nollywood and Kannywood stars; to step out of the screen to the ring. I’m not unaware that others have tried in the past.”
