President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed the candidate that he would support for the 2023 presidential election.
Buhari made the revelation during a recent interview with Bloomberg news.
The President stated that he would support the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu to succeed him.
Recall that Tinubu emerged as the presidential candidate of the APC after beating the likes of the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, a former minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and other candidates.
It was rumoured that Buhari was not happy with the emergence of Tinubu. However, the endorsement by Buhari would go a long way in clearing every doubt about the president’s commitment to the Tinubu candidacy.
