Ukraine said it had “finally” deployed an advanced German artillery system as it battles to curtail Russian advance on multiple fronts.

Germany recently sent it’s Panzerhaubitze 2000, in the latest delivery of the long-range, precision weapons Ukraine has been calling for.

“Panzerhaubitze 2000 are finally part of 155 mm howitzer arsenal of the Ukrainian artillery,” Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov wrote on social media, thanking his German counterpart Christine Lambrecht.

Germany said last month it would send seven self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine, ramping up deliveries of heavy weapons to help Kyiv battle Russia’s invasion.

The Panzerhaubitze 2000, abbreviated PzH 2000, is a German 155 mm self-propelled howitzer developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann and Rheinmetall for the German Army.

Vantage News gathered that the PzH 2000 is one of the most powerful conventional artillery systems deployed in modern times.

Pundits around the globe however predict more catastrophe in coming days as it’s difficult to ascertain how Russia may choose to react to these new long rang weapons in Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has promised to strengthen the army and deploy newly tested Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missiles for duty by the end of the year.
