A presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has been heavily criticised for deleting a tweet where he condemned the gruesome murder of Deborah Yakubu, a 200-level student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education (SSCOE) Sokoto for alleged blasphemy.
VANTAGE NEWS reported that Atiku had taken to his verified Twitter handle to condemn the murder of Deborah who was burnt alive by a mob on Thursday.
He, however, deleted the tweet minutes later after some Northern Muslims reportedly threatened not to vote for him for not supporting the action of the mob against someone that spoke ill of Prophet Muhammed.

This @atiku is going to be worse than Buhari..Atiku actually deleted that tweet on Deborah because his Northern blood thirsty mofos threatened not to vote him, man can sell this country for votes..
Atiku Abubakar @atiku should NEVER be allowed to be president of this country— alex ogaga (@twitlayzie285) May 12, 2022
Atiku deleting the post he made to condemn the sokoto killing is a big red flag.

Atiku was not really sympathetic
Tried to appease the South, saw reaction from the North, deleted
He feels it’s better not to offend the North than offend the South because Southerners are slaves and will vote for him anyways

Such a good tweet from Atiku Abubakar condemning the brutal murder of Deborah Yakubu. It’s really embarrassing it was deleted, especially after his silence about the Pantami saga.

Atiku Abubakar deleted his tweet condemning the murder of Deborah In sokoto because Muslims are threatening not to vote for him. His ambition is more important than human life. A vote for Atiku is a vote for islamists. But a vote for Peter Obi is a vote for humanists.
