The trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) will hold again today, Friday, April 7, 2022, at a Federal High Court in Abuja.
VANTAGE NEWS reports that Kanu, who was controversially arrested in Kenya is facing trial for alleged treasonable felony among other charges brought forward by the Federal Government.
In charge of today’s trial is Justice Binta Nyako of a Federal High Court in Abuja while the lead defense counsel in the case is Mike Ozekhome (SAN).
The suit requesting the court’s compelling interpretation of relevant statutory provisions and international treaties/conventions, which the defense team of Kanu believes the Federal Government of Nigeria grossly violated in the manner Kanu was arrested and extradited will be heard by the court today.
