Davido has ensured that Nigeria will not be entirely absent at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup after becoming the first Nigerian artiste to be featured in an official World Cup soundtrack.
The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the World Cup after losing out to West African neighbours Ghana on away goal after 1-1 aggregate on the two legs played in Kumasi and Abuja.
The Nigerian team’s failure to secure the ticket to the biggest football event in the world had put the fans in bad mood, but the news of Davido featuring in the official soundtrack of the World Cup has somehow cheered them up a bit.
Produced by RedOne, Hayya Hayya features vocal performances from Trinidad Cardona, Davido, and Aisha.
The song will be performed live for the first time today at the draw ceremony which will be live-streamed globally.
