The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, on Sunday, declared his intention to contest next year’s presidential seat under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Atiku, Saraki, Tambuwal, Kwankwaso and others left the PDP pre 2015 to go and support Buhari.
Wike saw the loophole and seized the opportunity. He and Fayose closed the gap and funded the party through the dark times.
