Former Manchester United captain, Patrice Evra was at Oshodi Underbridge in Lagos State on Saturday to play chess with children from the Chess In Slums Initiative.
Chess In Slums Africa initiative founded by Tunde Onakoya is a non-profit organisation that uses the game of chess to help youngsters in slum communities realise their full potential through chess training. Its activities are geared towards rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
Evra said he was impressed by the performance of the kids and praise Onakoya for the initiative.
He posted the video of his visit on Twitter.
