Five aspirants have purchased the national chairmanship Expression of Interest and Nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
VANTAGE NEWS reports that the APC Caretaker Extra Ordinary Convention Planning Committee announced the sale nomination of form on Tuesday in a statement by its Director of Organisation, Prof. Al-Mustapha Ussiju.
The form goes for N20 million for chairmanship aspirants and N10 million for vice chairmanship aspirants.
A former governor of Nasarawa, Abdulahi Adamu, Saliu Mustapha, and a former governor of Nasarawa, Tanko Al-Makura have picked the forms.
Others include the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, George Akume, and a former governor of Zamfara, Abdulaziz Yari.
Yari’s interest in the position comes as a surprise because the party zoned the Chairmanship position to the North-Central.
The new chairman of the party would emerge on March 26 at the party’s national convention.
