The decision comes after Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo was suspended by the NURTW over alleged meddlesomeness in Union matters, as well as a protest staged by his supporters during which they accused the union at the national level of unnecessarily interfering in the state affairs.
Following his suspension as the Chairman of Lagos State chapter of the union, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, in a press conference, asked Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to take over the running of all parks and garages in the state.
Nigerians on Twitter have been reacting.
MC Oluomo has announced the withdrawal of Lagos NURTW from the national body. This comes after the Government of Lagos State has suspended the operations of NURTW in parks within Lagos State.

The suspension of NURTW in Lagos State revealed 2 things;
1. MC Oluomo is the Lagos de facto Governor. Lagos Government suspended NURTW activities because the National body sanctioned Oluomo.
2. Seyi Makinde is a visionary Leader. Lagos about to copy his Park Management idea.
