Coach Austin Eguavoen on Friday released the names of the Super Eagles players to face the Black Stars of Ghana in a make-or-mar 2022 World Cup qualifying fixture to be played later this month.

Everton forward, Alex Iwobi was not named in the squad because he is currently serving a ban following the straight red card he received against Tunisia at the AFCON.

Notable absentees in the squad include the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi, Paul Onuchu, and Chidera Ejuke while Onazi Ogenyi was named in the standby list. New boy, Ademola Lookman was included in the squad while Emmanuel Dennis, and Osimhen returned to the team after their absence at the AFCON.
