Unknown assailants have beheaded one Chris Kpatuma, a retired police officer popularly known as Hipis in the Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.
VANTAGE NEWS learnt that the ex-policeman was beheaded in his farm on Tuesday by the hoodlums.
It was gathered that the victims body was returned home by the assailants that beheaded him.
The traditional ruler of the community, Eze Blaise Ubah told reporters that the case has been reported to the police.
The police State Command spokesperson, Mike Abattam, while reacting to the ugly incident, said investigation had been initiated.
