A former minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, and Senator Shehu Sani have taken to Twitter to react over the lifting of the ban on the social media platform by President Muhammadu Buhari.
VANTAGE NEWS had reported that the Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency and Chairman Technical Committee Nigeria-Twitter Engagement, Kashifu Abdullahi, disclosed in a press statement on Wednesday that the ban has been lifted.
Reacting, Sani tweeted:
Twitter ban lifted;We can now remove the ‘VPN oxygen mask’ that sustained us through such imposed suffocating and dark moments.
