Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has backed Atiku Abubakar for the 2023 presidential election.
Omokri, in a tweet on Monday, stated that Atiku, who is a former Vice President is the only man who can unite North and South.
He said, “I wholeheartedly, with my full chest, endorse HE @Atiku to run for President in 2023 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, and urge all my supporters to throw their support behind the only man who can unite North and South at this delicate time in our national life.”
VANTAGE NEWS reports that Atiku, who was the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 general election, is yet to officially declare his interest to contest the election in 2023.
