Fire Outbreak In Ikeja Computer Village, Property Worth Millions Destroyed

There was a fire outbreak at 18, Otigba Street, Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos State, destroying property worth millions of naira.

The fire which broke out in the early hours of Monday December 13,2021, engulfed a shopping complex and destroyed goods and valuables.

The cause of the fire outbreak was yet unknown as at the time of filing this report.

Early arrival of operatives of the fire service prevented the fire from destroying other buildings, VANTAGE NEWS learned.

The spokesperson Lagos state police command CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, who confirmed the incident said policemen were drafted to the scene to protect the Fire fighters and others.

“The fire has been put out successfully. No life was lost in the incident. However, valuable property which estimates are not yet known were destroyed. Cause of the fire outbreak not yet known. Investigation ongoing,” he added.
