The White Paper released by the Lagos State Government on the #EndSARS panel report has been described as a ‘white was’ by a Senator that represented Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani.
Sani took to his verified Twitter handle to condemn the stand of Governor Sanwo-Olu-led administration on the report submitted by the panel two weeks ago.
“The Lagos #whitepaper is a Whitewash. Cherrypicking the truth from the buffet of truths,” he tweeted.
VANTAGE NEWS had reported that the Lagos State Government, on Tuesday, faulted the report of the Judicial Panel of Inquiry as it identified several inconsistencies in the much-awaited White Paper released on Tuesday night.
Sanwo-Olu had specifically dismissed the panel’s report that nine persons were killed at the tollgate when soldiers and the police shot reportedly at peaceful protesters, describing it as “assumptions and speculations.”
