Former French defender, Patrice Evra has congratulated Argentine and Paris Saint-Germain forward, Lionel Messi as the winner of this year’s Ballon d’Or set to be announced on Monday evening.
The erstwhile Manchester United defender disclosed this in an Instagram post via his verified account on Sunday.
Evra said that Messi is set to win his 7th Ballon d’Or ahead of the likes of Poland and Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, Chelsea duo of N’golo Kante and Jorginho and Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah.
“Congratulations to @leomessi for winning another ballon d’or. Also the people who do not understand me when I speak that sucks my djudju,” he wrote.
VANTAGE NEWS reports that the 2021 Ballon d’Or ceremony is set to take place on the 29th of November.
Messi led Argentina to this year’s Copa America title.
