A senator that represented Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has floored the Federal Government’s plan to pay N5,000 grant to some Nigerians after removing fuel subsidy next year.
Recall that the FG had revealed plans to pay 5,000 to about 40,000 million Nigerians to ease lives after increasing fuel price to N340 per liter.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Sani said salaries will be worthless when the pump price of petrol increases to N340.
“When the pump price rises to N340, salaries or wages will be worthless, landlords will increase the rent, the schools will increase the tuition & parents must pay; food prices, transport, water & electricity bills will jerk up. They live in Mars & think 5k can solve all these problems,” he said.
