A former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has expressed optimism that the new National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will ‘hit the ground running.’
Atiku, who was the party’s presidential candidate in the last general election said this when he met with the incoming members of the NWC in Abuja on Tuesday.
“It was a pleasure meeting with colleagues and members of the incoming NWC of our great party, PDP, earlier today. Great to note that the new NWC is set to hit the ground running. I wish them a resounding success in strengthening the party and rebuilding the nation,” Atiku tweeted.
