Shehu Sani, has lamented over the continuous activities of bandits and other criminals operating along Kaduna-Abuja Highway despite the suspension of telecommunication services in the area.
Sani, who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th assembly made this known while reacting via his verified Twitter handle over an attack launched by bandits on passengers traveling the highway yesterday.
Recall that the Kaduna State Government had asked telecommunications firms to suspend their services in the state from September 30, towards checking the activities of bandits.
“The attacks, killings, and kidnappings along Kaduna-Abuja Highway today by terrorists is tragic, sad, and unfortunate. Despite all the claims of securing the road, the monsters are still with us. The suspension of telecom services is useless. My Prayers for the victims,” Sani said.
