The CAF group stage qualification matches for next year’s World Cup in Qatar were concluded yesterday.
Top teams from each group made it to the final qualification round that will be played in March 2022.
The countries that made it to the Play-off round include Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Mali, Morocco, and Senegal.
VANTAGE NEWS reports that the 10 teams will be drawn into five two-legged ties with the aggregate winners representing Africa at the World Cup finals in Qatar.
According to a Confederation of African Football (CAF) spokesperson who spoke with Reuters on Tuesday said that no date had yet been set for the draw, but it would likely take place in January.
