Breaking: Election Did Not Hold At Ihiala LGA – INEC

The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared no voting took place in Ihiala Local Government Area in the Anambra State governorship election.

The collation officer, Ahmadu Umar, says there were 148,407 registered voters in the LGA, and that election didn’t take place.

VANTAGE NEWS learnt that elections were suspended in Ihiala local government area (LGA) due to some disruption by hoodlums.

So far, INEC has declared results in 13 LGAs with the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) taking 11 LGA, while Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Young Progressives Party (YPP) take 1 LGA each.
