The candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Ifeanyi Ubah, has defeated the APC, PDP and APGA candidates in Nnewi North.
Ubah’s YPP polled 6485 to come first in that local government ahead of APGA who polled 3369, PDP with 1511 votes and APC with 1278 votes.
However, APGA’s Soludo has won the other LGAs out of the 11 already declared. There are 10 LGAs remaining to be declared.

The vice-chancellor of the University of Calabar and the returning officer for the Anambra governorship election, Florence Obi, has announced a one-hour break. This mean the election result declaration will continue at 3:30pm.
