The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Saturday’s governorship election in Anambra State, Valentine Ozigbo, has won the poll at the Ogbaru Local Government Area.
It is the first LGA the PDP candidate is winning out of the 12 already declared.
Recall that Senator Stella Oduah, a former PDP legislator who recently decamped to the APC, is from Ogbaru LGA.
While YPP’s Ifeanyi Ubah won in Nnewi North LGA, APGA’s Chukwuma Soludo has won the other 10 LGAs already declared.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has just reconvened to continue with the results declaration after a 45 minutes break.
