Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has reportedly arrested socialite and businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, for alleged money laundering.
VANTAGE NEWS learnt that the Anambra-born club and hotel owner arrived the headquarters of the EFCC at Jabi, Abuja, at about noon on Monday.
He is currently being interrogated by operatives of the commission, according to media reports.
As at the time of filing this report, allegations against the businessman were sketchy, but a source was quoted in mediato have disclosed that his case borders on alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

Earlier in the year, Obi Cubana made headlines when he hosted an flamboyant burial for his late mother in Oba, Anambra State, in which over 200 cows were reportedly slaughtered.
