Some unknown gunmen on Tuesday afternoon, stormed the venue of a peace meeting by traditional rulers in Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State.
VANTAGE NEWS reports that the gunmen opened fire on the the traditional rulers, killing three and injuring many others.
It was learnt that the traditional rulers had gathered at the Njaba local council headquarters at Nnenasato to discuss the insecurity situation in their respective communities.
Among the monarchs confirmed dead were the Obi 1 of Okwudor autonomous community, Eze E. Anayochukwu Durueburuo and Eze Sampson Osunwa of Ihebineowerre autonomous community.
