Police on Wednesday fired teargas at the Lekki tollgate to disperse EndSARS protesters.
Some youths had gathered at the Lekki tollgate to commemorate the one year anniversary of the shooting of EndSARS protesters by some security operatives.
Today’s commemorative protest started with many youths driving in convoy of cars, waving the Nigerian flags on the air.

At the early stage of today’s protest at Lekki tollgate plaza, pockets of protesters were arrested by the police, including some journalist.
The protests later grew in momentum with people coming down from their cars and more people joining the protest, which resulted in police releasing teargas to disperse them.
