Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe both scored to inspire France to win Spain 2-1, coming from behind to lift the UEFA Nations League Trophy for the first time.
In the 64th minute, Mikel Oyarzabal got the better of Dayot Upamecano to put Spain in front just seconds after Karim Benzema had crashed a shot against the underside of the bar – but the France striker responded himself moments later with a sensational, curling shot past Unai Simon in the 66th to equalise.
Mbappe latched unto Theo Hernandez’s deflected through ball and that allowed the world champions to become second-ever Nations League winners.
