Most MTN customers are currently experiencing service outage which has made it difficult to connect with family, friends and business partners in parts of the country.
The network issue started around 2:30 and made it difficult for customers to use the MTN’s call, data and SMS services.
Many customers have been lamenting on the problem all over social media.
However, MTN has acknowledged the problem and has issued an apology. In a post on it’s official Facebook page, the network operator wrote: “Yello! Some of our customers are having difficulty connecting to the network today. We are looking into this and are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
MTN did not state the cause of the problem in its post and also did not say when the issue would be resolved.
