The wife of Kano State Governor, Hafsat Ganduje, was on Monday quizzed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged multimillion naira land fraud.
VANTAGE NEWS learnt that Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s wife was interrogated for several hours in Abuja and allowed to go home later in the evening same day but is expected to return for further questioning at a later date.
Hafsat was reportedly arrested by the EFCC after failing to respond to an invitation over allegations of land fraud labelled against her by her son, Abdulazeez who we learnt has fled the country.
VANTAGE NEWS had reported that Abdulazeez petitioned EFCC after Hafsat failed to refund the money paid to her to facilitate the purchase of a land in Kano.
