Breaking: Buhari-Must-Go Protest Erupt In  Abuja On 61st Independence Day

On 1st October 2021, in the early hours of Friday, while the Nigerian elites and political class were busy getting ready to perform or partake in the 61st independence day anniversary rituals, protesters stormed the Dantata Bridge on the popular Airport Road in Abuja, demanding the resignation of the President, Muhammadu Buhari.

The protesters, wielding large banners, made bonfires on the highway.

As of the time of filing this report, heavily armed policemen have disperse the protesters who had just converged at the venue to begin their demonstration.

Vantage News gathered that men of the Nigerian Police who stormed the area, fired tear gas canisters and gave them a hot chase.
