All is not well in the camp of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) following the resignation of seven members of the party’s National Working Committee.
VANTAGE NEWS gathered that the members resigned over the unpleasant nature of the working environment.
The resignation of the NWC members was confirmed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Col. Austin Akobundu (retd).
While declining to give further details, Akobundu said those who resigned were deputies not the substantial heads of the departments.
He listed those who resigned to include the deputy national financial secretary, the deputy legal adviser, the deputy national auditor, the deputy national publicity secretary, the deputy women leader and the deputy organising secretary.
