Police operatives present at the Federal High Court, Abuja, venue for the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have arrested some members of the secessionist group.
VANTAGE NEWS reports that some of the supporters were chanting slogans in support of their rearrested leader.
Police operatives dispersed the supporters, some of whom appeared on Jewish outfit.
Kanu is being tried after he was extradited to Nigeria following his rearrest in Kenya weeks ago.
He is facing charges of treasonable felony for his agitation for the Republic of Biafra.
The agitation turned violent as members of the group took up arms, killing security agents and destroying public infrastructure in the south-east.
