Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has signed a new contract that will keep hhim at the club till 2024.
The contract also include an option for a one year extension.
Expressing his delight over the improved contract, Solskjaer told the club’s website that he has buil a squad with a good balance of youth and experience.
He said, “It is an exciting time for Manchester United, we have built a squad with a good balance of youth and experienced players that are hungry for success.
“I can’t wait to get out in front of a packed Old Trafford and get this campaign started.”
Solskjaer, who is a Manchester United ex-player, returned to club as manager during 2018-19 season follwoing the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December 2018.
He led club to second-place finish in the Premier League and the Europa League final last season
Solskjaer was rewarded with a three-year contract in 2019, which was set to expire at the end of the 2021/22 season after leading the club to 14 wins from 19 matches.
