Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, has dropped a message of support for teammate, Marcus Rashford following his penalty miss during the final match of the just concluded European Championship.

Rashford, who suffered racist abuse online, penned a strong message on social media, apologising to his teammates and stating he’s had a difficult season.

In a tweet on Tuesday, Fernandes told Rashford to be proud of what he achieved in the tournament.

Fernandes said, “You should only be proud of what you achieved in this tournament! Hold your head up high, bro!

“You’re an example for everyone on and off the pitch.”
