Igboho Didn’t Ask Oluwo To Speak On His Behalf – Spokesman

Yoruba Rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularlt known as Igboho, has said he did not ask the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Adewale Akanbi to speak on his behalf.

Recall that Oba Akanbi had in a letter written to President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, pleaded with the presidency to forgive Igboho.

Oba Akanbi, had also promised to bring Igboho to the Presidential Villa for peace talks.

Igboho, whose home in the Saka area of Ibadan, Oyo State was raided by the Department of State Services on July 1 has since gone underground .

The DSS killed 2 and arrested 12 aides of the Yoruba Nation agitator during the raid.

Reacting over the Oba’s letter, the spokesman for Igboho, Olayomi Koiki, in a post on his Facebook page, Koiki Media, on Sunday, said, “Chief Sunday (Igboho) did not ask any royal father to speak on his behalf. His legal team is on his case.”
