History was made at the first Parents Teachers Forum of Likeminds Model Academy held on Tuesday, 22nd June, 2021, as the first Parents Teachers Association PTA Executive Committee members were inaugurated by the Board Chairman, Prince AbdulMujeeb Adesegun Ogungbayi.
The Board Chairman explained that as Likeminds Model Academy clocked two years, there is high need for Parents and Teachers to start meeting constantly on the social, moral and spiritual activities of the students before it gets out of hand.
“We are giving birth to Likeminds Model Academy PTA today to strengthen the Welfare of the innocent Children who are often surrounded by invisible destructive teachers outside the school and home” Ogungbayi declared.

“My dream is to to see CSC. Abdurahaman Abdulwaheed led Executive, making Likeminds Model Academy PTA administrative activities a model in Abeokuta and Ogun State in general” Ogungbayi asserted.
In the acceptance speech of the PTA Chairman, CSC Abdurahaman Abdulwaheed, who was highly elated to accept the position and serve the school judiciously said, ” I have not seen this type of Educational Model in my twenty four years of teaching experience which is aiding and transforming our children distinctly.
“I therefore promise to influence all my distinguished colleagues to add more value to the life of our children who are the students and the purpose of the school making us PTA Executive.”
The occasion also witnessed seminar with the theme, My Child My Future. The Guest Speaker CS Omojole Shaafiu Olakunle, the Divisional Head Officer, NSCDC, Abeokuta South Division maintained that no Parents can have a better future without making their children outstanding morally, socially, spiritually and and academically before the age of 12.
Declaring that Children are the real future, Olakunle concluded that any parent that toy with the upbringing of his or her child has collapsed his or her own future.
The Director of Academics of the institute, Oladele Abdulwasiu, called on Parents to keep faith in the citadel of learning under the distinguished leadership of Prince AbdulMujeeb Adesegun Ogungbayi whose legacy is unparalleled in administering and directing schools and students.
“You have to to keep supporting us in strengthening your children morally socially spiritually and Academically if your children must lead us tomorrow,” Oladele stated.
“Majority of Students that are often preoccupied by gross misconducts and moral decadence often end up as drop out,” Oladele added.
The Parents Teachers Forum had creme dela creme of the school at the occasion.
