Stop Attacking Peaceful Protesters, Amnesty International Tells Buhari

Global human rights organisation, Amnesty International has condemned the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for attacking peaceful protesters across the country.

Recall that there was a widespread protest yesterday, June 12 by youths demanding good governance.

In a tweet, Amnesty International said it has received reports of attacks on peaceful protesters in Ibadan, Lagos and Abuja.

It condemned the attacks saying, “We again call on the Nigerian authorities to respect human rights and end attacks on peaceful protesters
