UEFA has reacted following the collapse of Christian Eriksen during the Euro 2020 match between Denmark and Finland.
The stadium and indeed the whole football world was thrown into fear as Eriksen collapsed unchallenged and was administered with CPR, causing the match to be suspended.
In a statement released by the European football governing body after the incident, UEFA said a crisis meeting has been held with both teams and match officials. It says further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET.
UEFA said the player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised. This is a good news to football fans all over the world who have been hoping that the player is resuscitated.
