‘Let The Struggle Continue If They Take My Life’, Sowore Reacts After Being Shot


Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore has reacted after being shot by a police officer on Monday morning in Abuja.

VANTAGE NEWS reported that the Sahara Reporters publisher was shot at the Unity Fountain while he was trying to gain entrance into the place.

Sowore and others had gathered at the fountain at 8:30am for a protest. But the police allegedly denied them entry into the facility.

Reacting through his verified Twitter account, the Revolution Now movement convener, revealed the name of the police officer that shot him as he said the struggled must continue even if he died.

He wrote: “Just been shit by a police officer, ACP Atine at the Unity Fountain in Abuja. #RevolutionNow Let the struggle continue even if they take my life! #BuhariMustGo.” He attached a picture of his wound on the tweet as well.
